Indemo Welcomes Croatian Investors

This November marks an exciting milestone for Indemo. As of mid-November 2025, we are officially opening our doors to Croatian investors.
This was made possible by Croatia’s recent removal from the FATF grey list. The regulatory change strengthens Croatia’s standing in global financial markets and enables platforms like Indemo to welcome Croatian residents with confidence.
What Enabled This Change
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) removed Croatia from its list of jurisdictions under increased monitoring, commonly known as the grey list. FATF highlighted “significant and measurable progress” in Croatia’s AML/CFT (Anti–Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism) framework. The Croatian Ministry of Finance confirmed that the country successfully fulfilled all obligations under its action plan and is no longer subject to enhanced monitoring.
Because FATF listing directly affects how financial service providers manage jurisdictional risk, Croatia’s removal from the grey list created the regulatory conditions that now allow Indemo to include Croatia among its permitted jurisdictions.
Why This Matters for Investors and Platforms Alike
1. Reduced Reputational and Compliance Risk
Countries on the FATF grey list often face heightened scrutiny from international financial institutions. This can increase onboarding friction and due-diligence complexity. Croatia’s removal significantly reduces that risk profile.
2. A Signal of Strengthened Financial Oversight
The delisting signals that Croatia has meaningfully improved the effectiveness of its AML/CFT systems. For investors, this means greater confidence in the stability and credibility of the country’s financial ecosystem.
3. New Opportunities for Indemo
With the regulatory pathway clear, Indemo can safely and confidently open investment opportunities to Croatian residents. This broadens our investor community and supports our long-term strategy of sustainable, compliant growth.
What This Means for Croatian Investors
As of mid-November 2025, Croatian residents can:
- Register and invest on the Indemo platform under the same AML/KYC framework applied to all permitted jurisdictions.
- Access new investment opportunities in a regulated, transparent, and cross-border environment.
- Engage confidently, knowing that Croatia now meets FATF standards and that Indemo operates with strong compliance processes.
What This Means for Indemo
For Indemo, this is more than an administrative update. This is a meaningful expansion of our global investor base. Croatia’s improved financial governance aligns with Indemo’s commitment to compliance, responsible risk management, and sustainable long-term growth. By welcoming Croatian investors, we strengthen our presence in the EU region and broaden participation in our marketplace.
Looking Ahead
Indemo will continue closely monitoring regulatory developments and updating our permitted jurisdictions accordingly. We are excited to welcome Croatian investors into our community and look forward to building long-lasting relationships as we expand together.
